Abstract

The analysis of artist’s reminiscence from the period of early childhood to the period of studying in Paris makes the starting point in clarifying the late dynamics of the influences in the field of artistic and theoretical work of Stevan Živadinović – Vane Bor. A key aspect in forming this artist’s expression was the Parisian period with Marko Ristić as a medium between Vane Bor and the Parisian Surrealist group. Beside theoretical work, during this time Bor was active in the field of visual arts practice, which included collage, photogramme and painting under the great influence of Max Ernst.
